Is there any testing during the courses?

No. There is NO formal testing

We do have some clinical scenarios in ECCAM, ProSED & MRad. However, it is voluntary if you’d like to contribute. Our scenarios are based on real cases & feedback from previous courses tells us that it is valued & enjoyed by our registrants when they participate, but again it is entirely voluntary.

Is there any pre-course reading material?

Prior to each ECCAM Course, ProSED Course & SUTURED we email each registrant 2 clinical scenarios (for ECCAM & ProSED) and 10 short questions for SUTURED. We encourage our registrants to attempt working through the scenarios & attempting the questions for SUTURED. They simply stimulate a thoughtful approach to the course content prior to attending.

These questions are for self reflection only & are not shared with any Faculty or participants. Hopefully, by the conclusion of the respective course you will have a safe approach to the scenarios & answers to the questions emailed to you for SUTURED.

They do not contribute to the courses.

No course manual is mailed out to you. The course manual is handed to you at the commencement of each course.

Can Nurse Practitioners attend?

Any non-physicians who wish to attend should email us at info@medicaled.ca. Attendance for non-physicians will be reviewed and approved at our discretion.
